Very water proof and looks great
Works great over my hammock. Only change I'd possibly make is longer stakes. I love all the tie out spots.
Had one little leak on a seam but it was from it loosening during the night, tightened it up and stayed dry for the rest of the week.
Water simply beads up and runs off. Grommets are laid out perfect for any setup.
I took this tarp, along with a couple of poles, to serve as a sun shelter for my tent while camping for 3 days in Chaco Canyon. The temps were brutal, several people experienced heat exhaustion, and the winds were unrelenting for all 3 days. This tarp definitely protected my tent from the worst of the weather, providing shade and a wind break. That tarp absolutely took a beating and didn’t flinch: grommets held, nothing ripped or tore, bulletproof. Plus, it’s light weight nylon vs the heavy rubberized material of other tarps so it didn’t accumulate dirt like some of the others did.Based on how well it stood up to some brutal punishment, I may get another.
