Men's Lightweight Softshell Golf Vests

This is a thin lightweight vest. For years I thought vests were dopey, then I started getting chills down my back and neck and nowhere else, so dopey vests for the win. There are a lot of pockets. This will help on a lightly breezy day to keep your core warm, or you can easily layer it under heavier jackets. I think there is something about the style that doesn’t look super great on me, it’s bulky in the chest area, maybe. It just looks a little off in the front by the chest.

I know you are likely reading other reviews and they are right, order a size down. A medium vest is normally perfect but I trusted other reviewers and ordered a small and it fits just like a medium. The vest itself is very comfortable, a little space on the inside for airflow without being too baggy. I wear it for indoor work so I cannot comment on the water resistance. I would wear it as a layer but not specifically to stay warm on it's own. The pockets are deep, zippers so far have not let me down and it has one inside chest pocket which is helpful as well. I ordered them in other colors due to my satisfaction with my first one.

Really like this vest but runs large

This is a very nice vest. It keeps me warm during the summer heat when my office blast the AC to max. Very stylish and comfortable to wear all day. I bought two jackets black and blue. True to size.

Many other vests had serious drawbacks such as any sideways tension would break open the front main zipper. Also the zippers were left handed and awkward for me.But not this vest. The zipper is better constructed and is a bit larger. The vest fabric is stretchable thus relieving sideways tension. The zipper operates very well and is right handed.I love the softness of the fabric. The zippered large pockets are excellent. The zippered breast pocket is ample to hold smartphone. And there is an inside pocket high up on left side ideal for storing your foldable face mask.I am so pleased I bought a second vest of a different color. The price of this vest is just right. And size turned out just right. I am 79 with a bit of belly.I highly recommend this vest.

Large is actually X-Large.

Use it for golf, and its pretty heavy duty, like the vest, but was disappointed that the internal tightening string broke after 5 or 6 wears..
